About Us
Maguire's Family & Friends Restaurant and Irish Pub opened its doors on St. Patrick's Day, 2008. Owned by brothers Frank Maguire and Chris Fives, our restaurant and Irish Pub is the realization of a dream to continue the family legacy passed down from our grandmother.
In the 1960's & 70’s our grandmother, Grace Fives, managed a restaurant in Long Island, New York, called the Jolly Fisherman. She then came to own and operate the North Shore Steak House in Long Island, NY. After Grace’s passing, our father, Mike Fives, and our uncle assumed ownership from their mother and managed the restaurant to carry on the family tradition.
We started working for our father at the steak house at a very young age, and worked our way up from washing dishes. Under the mentoring of our father, we both learned every aspect of the restaurant industry. Frank went on to work in and manage four other restaurants in both Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
We decided to open Maguire's Family & Friends Restaurant and Irish Pub when our family was presented with the opportunity to be a part of the Historic Senoia Project, an initiative aimed at re-developing a thriving, historic downtown business district. With the vision of restoring the lifestyle where neighbors are friends, shopkeepers provide a higher level of quality and service, and family values are important to everyone, we found the perfect occasion to reestablish the legacy for our children. As you walk down the brick lined steps into Maguire’s you will realize you are in the most unique family-oriented restaurant south of Atlanta.
When visiting Maguire's, you'll see Frank’s wife and 3 children working along side with us. It is our mission to honor our heritage by always providing the great food, great fun and great service upon which our grandmother prided herself.
